HEPL Garden 2026: The New Student Event You Don’t Want to Miss in Liège

Garden HEPL

When you arrive in Liège as an Erasmus student, you quickly start hearing one word as soon as the sunny days come back: gardens. Behind this name are some of the biggest daytime student parties organised by schools and universities in Liège. The concept is simple: music, bars, food, sunshine and hundreds of students partying together for an entire afternoon.

Unlike classic student parties that start late at night, a garden usually begins in the early afternoon and ends in the early evening. The atmosphere is generally very chill and friendly: people dance outside, meet up with friends, discover new people and simply enjoy the sun together.

In Liège, almost every major school has its own garden. There are gardens organised by HELMo, HEC and many other student institutions in the city. But the idea is simple: everyone can join. You absolutely do not need to be a student from a specific school to attend its garden. This mix between local students, Erasmus students and people from different schools is exactly what makes these events so popular.

And this year, for the very first time, HEPL is finally launching its own garden.

The CE HEPL is going big with a brand new Garden Party organised at the Standard de Liège stadium on May 7th 2026. The goal is simple: give students the chance to relax and enjoy themselves before exams in a 100% Liège student atmosphere.

The program includes DJ sets all afternoon, bars, food trucks, music, sunshine and even a big surprise that will be announced later in the line-up. The event is open to all students, whether you study at HEPL or not.

The entrance price stays very affordable, just like most student gardens in Liège: €3 in presale (+ transaction fees) and €1.10 per drink token.
