Les Apéros Liège: The Perfect Summer Evening Event

As soon as the sun comes back to Liège, another classic part of student life returns as well: Les Apéros Liège. Organised several times during spring and summer in different places around the city, these events bring together hundreds of people around a very simple concept: having a drink, enjoying the good weather, listening to music and spending a great evening with friends.

The location changes almost every time: Parc de la Citadelle, B3, the Héliport near the Belle Liégeoise footbridge, Parc d’Avroy… but the atmosphere always stays the same. You will find bars, food trucks, music, sometimes DJ sets and lots of students enjoying the evening after classes.

The Apéros usually take place on Friday evenings, often between 5:30 PM and 11:30 PM, making them the perfect way to start the weekend in a relaxed way. Entry is most of the time free and the chosen locations are usually very easy to access by public transport.

Many students love these events because the atmosphere is much more chill than a big classic party. People mainly come to talk, meet friends, discover new people and enjoy being outside when the weather is good. And of course… for the more motivated ones, the night often continues later in the Carré until very late.

In Liège, the Apéros have become a real symbol of the return of sunny student days. As soon as a new date is announced, groups of friends immediately start organising themselves.
